I will try to use the zone of proximal development principle in my own lessons and observe it in the lessons I visit.


Daily Reflection

Lessons can be made more effective and fun with the use of instruments that utilize artificial intelligence. If I can make good use of generative artificial intelligence and integrate effective technologies, I believe that it has the potential to significantly increase student learning. When it comes to accomplishing this objective, it will be beneficial to make frequent use of artificial intelligence, to conduct fresh experiments by providing a variety of quotations, and to do double checks using reputable sources.

                                                                    UBD & UDL

UBD is primarily a course design method for deep learning and uses the backward design method. The primary purpose of UDL is to offer an inclusive learning design. In the UBD plan, this is included as a differentiation in a way that is not as obvious as in the UDL planner.

What the teacher and the student will do is defined in the UDL planner.

Focus: UDL focuses on ensuring that all students have access to the learning process. Diversity and accessibility are at the forefront. It aims to develop flexible teaching methods and materials to meet students' diverse learning needs and styles.

UDL offers flexibility in the presentation of course content, students' methods of expression, and participation in the learning process. It aims to ensure that all students, especially those with learning difficulties, have full access to course materials and learning activities.


UbD (Understanding by Design)

UbD centers on student understanding and deep learning. Applies a systematic planning process to achieve educational goals. Lesson planning is done by focusing primarily on learning outcomes. It is based on the principle of "planning starting from the result" (backward design).

Lesson plans are created by focusing on what kind of understanding and skills need to be developed at the end of the learning process.

UDL focuses on accessibility and diversity, while UbD focuses on developing learning outcomes and deep understanding. UDL is particularly suitable for students with a variety of learning styles and needs; UbD, on the other hand, is aimed at developing deep understanding in all students.

Daily Action Implementing the Text and Talk strategy seamlessly into my classes, fosters critical thinking, active participation, and deeper understanding among my students. Daily Reflection I really enjoyed how the instructor introduced himself; sincere and encouraging... He used technology well and the tools we learned were important: such as Pollev and Worldcat.
