Daily Reflection



I found the learning talking circle to be a remarkably engaging and insightful approach. It provided a platform where I felt encouraged to share thoughts and perspectives freely. The exchange of ideas within this setting not only broadened my understanding but also exposed me to diverse viewpoints.


Regarding KPIs, I appreciated their role in structuring the observation process during the case study on class observation. They offered a clear framework to evaluate various teaching aspects systematically. Through their use, I gained a more nuanced understanding of what constitutes effective teaching practices.


The case study about class observation proved invaluable, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge to real classroom situations, deepening my grasp of observation techniques and their practical implications in educational settings.

Case Study - Observation Notes


In Mr.Noyes' Class,

  • Students do not establish a bond with the class, the material, their friends, or the teacher.
  • Students are not seen, they are not noticed.
  • The emphasis is on exams, not on learning.
  • Negative behaviors are reinforced; swearing, distributing papers, etc.
  • There is no fair environment; latecomers are not treated equally.
  • There is no lesson plan: Introduction, conclusion, aim, purpose, goals
  • First of all, to notice the problems related to the course with great clarity.
  • I would ask him to set up a camera during the lesson, record it and watch it later to make his own outcomes.
  • I observe this class in different courses.
